It kind of makes me laugh when people tell me that Christmas is losing its Christian roots considering the fact that December 25th was originally a pagan holiday and also the birthday of many Greek Gods. Pretty ironic, eh?

A serious question.
I always hear girls on tumblr saying things like, "i'm a mess, i'm losing my mind."
What does it mean to be a mess, to lose your mind when you are a middle class, white female living in Iowa? Tell me, please.
